Strength Training is particularly good for the older person especially in regards to the governance of bone density. Load bearing exercises has a positive effect on bone formation, thus increasing musculoskeletal strength and durability with a reduction in bone mineral loss.
Building muscle strength is not the same as building muscle mass, (this is often a cause of great confusion). Engaging in weight bearing exercise that puts a mechanical strain on the skeletal system along with the muscular system yields enormous benefits to our everyday lives

Using weight stacks, free weights or free exercises enables the individual to build strength and stamina at a realistic pace, there is no pass or fail grade.
Nuexcom clients find this way of training with a combination of other disciplines very productive and effective, it allows, regardless of a persons weight or fitness level to achieve from day 1.
The fact is, the less experienced a person is at strength training the quicker the results, which in turn creates a momentum and the motivation to carry on. The use of mechanical weights or the persons own weight with free exercises expedites the quantity of calories used, therefore diets are not an essential part of an individuals training at the beginning.
The strength training programme is tailored to specific areas of the body to help with posture, inch loss and toning particularly for the arms, legs, chest and back. The programme is designed to deliver results within 10 to 12 weeks with a 1 hourly weekly session.
